Santrio Management

Santrio, Inc. is run by industry veterans with over 50 years of combined experience in providing software applications to the small business marketplace. Each have run small businesses themselves with an innate understanding of the multiple hats that business owners must wear and the necessity of getting the job done not tomorrow, but right now.

John Hammon, Founder and CTO

John Hammon has over 20 years of experience working with transactional systems, software development and data integration. He is responsible for Santrio's software development, data centers, and maintenance of internal and hosted systems. Before founding the Company, John was a director of content systems for Commerce One, Inc., where he managed the development of systems that generated about $30 million in license revenues and $4 million in service revenues annually. He managed the design, development and deployment of intranet and Internet systems for the largest catalog processing operation in business -to-business e-commerce, typically allowing 100 times the volume with one -tenth the staff of competitors.

Prior to Commerce One, Hammon was a product manager at Trade Service Corporation, where he managed market analysis, market testing, and launch of Internet-based e-commerce technology. He has a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California and has post-graduate training in entrepreneurial development, business administration, computer programming, and project management.

John's varied background includes the complete creation of a custom accounting program that has been adopted by about twenty companies. He has made QuickBooks his specialty for the past few years, and has a level of deep understanding that allows him to quickly pull out and format obscure data from QuickBooks and to create workarounds to the complexities of the QB system. This is a lifesaver when QuickBooks fails to provide features that Santrio subscribers need.

He has a keen knowledge of sales order workflow that allows him to design and program features that serve as processes; this is especially useful in small companies, particularly in the sales rep to Customer Service interface. He has pioneered the extension of traditional order management and order processing into automated and formatted use by field salespeople, customers, call centers, warehouses/fulfillment centers, and by managers who just want information, not conversation.

John is devoted to providing small companies with advanced processes that are generally found only with enterprise software. He believes that QuickBooks can be incredibly powerful when given a little help and is happiest when talking with QB users about streamlining their businesses. Feel free to call him at 858-676-6750.
