    No. Open for Business is provided through a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. Customers have no need to install or manage any new software.

    When selling to larger companies, small businesses are expected to provide their business customers and sales personnel immediate anytime, anywhere access to data and services relating to purchase history, order status, product literature, and other information.     Open for Business securely links with QuickBooks and is limited to:

    • Sales transactions
    • Sales rep information
    • Dealer/customer information
    • Item/product information

    And even these can only be seen by sales reps and customers if you specifically grant them permission.

    Your financial information (cash flow elements, balance sheet elements, P&L elements, payroll data) is never accessed by Open for Business.

    Open for Business allows your management and sales team to track all orders placed and allows access to up-to-the-minute data on sales by rep, sales compared to quota, sales YTD, ranking of sales reps, orders by products, and more.

  • Do we need to have QuickBooks to use Open for Business? Click for answer

    Yes. Open for Business is designed exclusively for use with QuickBooks. The following QuickBooks products work with Open for Business:

    • U.S. editions of QuickBooks Financial Software products
    • QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions (All)
    • QuickBooks Premier (2002 or later)
    • QuickBooks Pro (2002 or later)

  • Will using Open for Business require purchasing any additional licenses for QuickBooks? Click for answer

    Your sales reps just

    1. sign in
    2. select an existing customer (or add a new one)
    3. select the items and quantity from your order form
    4. click Submit

  • How do orders entered through Open for Business get written automatically to Quickbooks? Click for answer

    As orders come in, the Open for Business Order Bridge automatically verifies them and writes them directly into QuickBooks. You do not have to manually enter new customers into QuickBooks either. It's all automated.

    • You can synchronize as often as you like
